As a drummer, songwriter, and producer, creating these instrumental versions gave me the opportunity to shine a light on the incredible performances of D'MAR & The Nu Funk Society. Every drum groove, bass line, guitar part, keyboard texture, and melodic phrase was intentionally crafted to serve the music, and this album allows those details to be heard in a new and meaningful way.
