"Lottery" is my reminder that the greatest treasures in life can't be bought, earned, or won—they're found in the people who choose to love us.

We've all heard stories about someone hitting the lottery and having their life changed forever. But for me, the real jackpot isn't money. It's finding someone whose love transforms your world, brings light into your darkest days, and makes you feel like you've already won.

That's the story I wanted to tell with this song.

From the opening line, "I was broke in a world of gray, then you walked in like a sunlit parade," the song celebrates the incredible feeling of finding a love that changes your perspective. Suddenly, life feels richer, brighter, and filled with possibility—not because your bank account changed, but because your heart did.

When I sing, "You're my lottery, my lucky spin... I hit the odds when you chose me," I'm expressing the gratitude that comes from realizing you've found something truly priceless. The best relationships aren't built on chance alone—they're built on appreciation, commitment, and recognizing the gift you've been given.

Musically, I wanted "Lottery" to be joyful, uplifting, and full of groove. Blending soul, funk, R&B, and hip-hop, the track captures the excitement of discovering a love that's worth more than any jackpot. Voss brings an energetic rap verse that drives home the idea that real wealth isn't measured in dollars—it's measured in the people who stand beside us.

At the end of the day, this song isn't really about luck.

It's about gratitude.
